On Friday the 23rd November there was a charity fundraising event for the Sobell House Hospice at the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford. Over 500 attended to see Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris talk about their book 'The Lost Words' and how it has reached far further than they ever expected.
Both Jackie and Robert were keen on Kerry Andrew finishing the evening with her song inspired by the book of the poem bluebell but she was working up in Scotland so Jackie asked if I could put something together instead.
I was flattered to be asked, and a little over awed with the task to be honest as I knew it would mean a five minute film - thats a lot of footage!!
This is the result, which ended the evening.
